Bins, Beer Fest, Roadworks and Grants

Bin Collections

South Cambs have advised that their bin collection staff will be working earlier in the day because of the heat. There is no change in collection days, but we are asked to put out the bins the night before collection to avoid being missed.

Curry Night and Beer Festival

Curry night in the Village Hall on Friday 22nd July. The Village Hall Management Committee has teamed up with Lord Conrad’s brewery, our own Dry Drayton brewery, to bring you curry on Friday 22nd at his weekend beer festival at the village hall. If you remember the curry nights associated with saving the Black Horse, then you’d probably want to come along. We’ll be serving curry between 6 and 8pm on Friday 22 July. All Welcome.

And on Saturday 23 July, 12pm to late, Lord Conrad’s Brewery will be continuing their Beer Fest at the Village Hall, teaming up with a food truck.

A428 Roadworks

Between Mondays and Fridays, 8pm-6am, until 12 Aug, there will be roadworks on the A428 at the Cambourne slip roads. There will be diversions in place.
