- Autumn / Harvest Celebrations in Dry Drayton

It is autumn and we have a week of Dry Drayton Harvest family events planned based in the church to celebrate the season in different ways:
Community Harvest Service Sun 23 Sept, 11am to12 noon. A church service for all the family, with traditional Harvest hymns, prayers and interactive story. The church will be decorated for Harvest including new banners made by the school to be revealed at the service. You are invited to bring traditional Harvest donations for Cambridge City Foodbank (tins, packets etc) and the Children’s Hospice in Milton (fresh produce)
School Harvest Service Tues 25 Sept, 2—2.45pm. A service for the school – children, staff and governors – in the village church to which parents, carers and supporters are welcome. Harvest donations are invited, as above.
Community Harvest Ceilidh Sat 29 Sept, 6-9pm, with the Cambridge University Ceilidh Band, all ages and proficiencies of dancing are welcome! Tickets £5 child, £10 adult, £25 family, on the door. Finger buffet & soft drinks. Bring your own wine or beer.
Come and celebrate the season and life in our village at any or all of the above! Bring your friends and neighbours!
- Yummies for Mummies – a new Brunch Club in Dry Drayton

First meet-up is on Friday 19th Oct 11:30am The Black Horse Dry Drayton. A friendly monthly brunch for parents, grandparents, carers and the kids! Treat yourself to a delicious brunch and make some new friends too!. It will be held every 3rd Friday of the month at 11:30am. - A14 Improvements

A number of overnight closures are planned for the A14, closest to Dry Drayton are:
Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd Sept (two nights), overnight between 8pm and 6am,
* A14 westbound Swavesey J28 to Fenstanton J27
* A14 eastbound Fenstanton J227 to Swavesey J28
Monday 24 to Friday 28 Sept (five nights) overnight between 8pm and 6am,
A428 eastbound Madingley to A14 eastbound junction 33 Milton
- Another crime in the village
Dry Drayton – Oak Crescent. Between 22:00 hrs on 14/08/18 and 09:08 hrs on 17/09/18, Unknown offenders have broken into a van but were not successful in getting into the rear compartment, so no items were taken.
