What do you think about the levels of traffic passing through the village?
Dry Drayton Parish Council is seeking residents’ views and would like to know which potential traffic calming measures you would like to see introduced throughout the village – including by Scotland Farm where speeding is a considerable problem. We know we cannot please everyone but we do wish to make decisions that are informed by, and take account of tour opinions.
The survey contains terms that may not be familiar. So before completing it, please visit the Cambs County Council web page on alternative speed measures at: https://www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/residents/travel-roads-and-parking/roads-and-pathways/improving-the-local-highway/speeding/alternative-speed-measures . It offers photos and descriptions of different measures (such as mobile speed signs, buffer zones, gateways etc) along with their effectiveness.
The survey can be completed using this link

Some images of the potential measures will be available to view on notice boards in the High Street and near Scotland Farm and Crafts Hill Farm.
Please submit your views by Monday 24 the October . The results of the survey will be discussed at the Parish Council Meeting on 1st November,
Thank you for helping us to understand local opinion by completing the survey.
Stephen Aldersley, Chairman, Dry Drayton Parish Council.
