Reward – Lost wedding Ring

On Monday 5th / Tuesday 6th November a wedding ring was lost in Dry Drayton or Bar Hill, or somewhere in-between. It’s a plain, gold, man’s wedding ring and there’s a reward for its return. Please call Matt on 01954 781174 if you find it.

A14 progress on the local connection to the Girton Interchange.

We reported in the last e-mail that, by the end of the year, traffic could be using the new local road from Oakington Road Dry Drayton to the Girton Interchange. Edward Fleming draws our attention to the latest “Drones Over Girton” video on Youtube showing the advanced state of the new local road. Alongside the road is the wide path that will become the new Non Motorised Users (NMU) route. What a shame that to reach this new safe cycling route on a bicycle you have to navigate the busy Oakington Road, scene of at least one cyclist fatality.
