Saving The Black Horse – Working Party 18th Feb – a message from Judith Bennetton
On a bright but chilly Sunday 26th November an enthusiastic group from the village spent much of the day clearing brambles and the ditch and pond at the back of the pub. We all enjoyed working together and Colin and Amanda provided hot drinks and snacks throughout.
A huge amount was achieved but there is still more to do – the pond still needs more clearing (and digging out the last bits of rubbish) as well as more general clearing and tidying so we are again asking the community if they can come this Sunday the 18th February to help out.
Just drop by the Black Horse when you can make it and for as long as you can help, any time between 10am and 3pm. Do come and lend a hand and burn a few (more) calories for a good cause! Refreshments provided.
Wear old clothes, appropriate footwear and bring gloves, secateurs and spades. See our blog post
Thank you!

Are you getting the right information about the A14 improvements?
The 2018 A14C2H comms survey closes at the end of the month (Wednesday 28 February) and they want to hear from as many people as possible so they can understand where they can make improvements.
The link to the survey can be found here – A14 Cambridge to Huntingdon survey 2017 – and results will be shared on their website once they’ve had a chance to analyse their findings.
