Another Dry Drayton Resident who will be sorely missed
We are sorry to bring you the sad news of the death of Pam Ducker, who for many years has been at the heart of the activities of the WI, the Friendship Club and other organisations in the village. Pam’s funeral service will be held at Cambridge City Crematorium, West Chapel, on Tuesday 2nd January at 12 noon and afterwards at Dry Drayton Village Hall. http://www.family-announcements.co.uk/cambridgeshire/view/4476658/ducker
A reminder from the village Neighbourhood Watch – please remain vigilent both during the longer hours of darkness and during daylight and report any suspicious activity. In recent weeks there have been distraction burglaries in other villages during the daytime, and shed burglaries at night also feature. One local resident has reported suspicious activity by a couple of men in a landrover shining a red laser light across fields in the village, and we understand there have been attempted break-ins at one local Dry Drayton business. If you are interested in the work of Neighbourhood Watch nationally you can read their latest newsletter here: https://www.ourwatch.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/NHW-Our-News-December-2017-Edition.pdf
