Three more crimes in the village

  1. Between 18:00 and  22:30 on 02/02/2017, High Street, Dry Drayton, Offender(s) have forced the door to victim’s shed and have taken tools amounting to the approx value of £2,000.
  2. On the 19th of January, between 13:45 and 15:30hrs, a theft from a motor vehicle took place in Park Lane, Dry Drayton. Unknown offender(s) have gained entry to the vehicle by unknown means and have taken a mobile phone from within.
  3. Between 13/01/2017 17:00 and 16/01/2017 09:00 at Scotland Road, Dry Drayton. Offenders have forced entry to an office and a search has been carried out, nothing appears to have been taken.

New Yoga Class in Dry Drayton  

There’s a new yoga class starting in the Village Hall on Tuesday 28 February, from 6.45 to 8pm.  This is an opportunity to learn yoga from the beginning, with an introduction to basic poses, gradually moving as a group towards a more fluid practice.  The cost will be £21 for three classes (28 February, 7 and 14 March).  Please note that the Parish Council has its meetings on the third Tuesday of every month so there will be no class on 21 March.  Please bring a yoga mat, and a blanket for relaxation, and aim to arrive at least five minutes before the class starts.  Contact Anita Cullum on 01954 780645 / for further information and to book a place.

Dry Drayton School and Village Association

The AGM of the School and Village Association will take place at 7pm on 8th February in the School Hall. The Association runs local events and raises funds for school and village nand publishes the Village Newsletter. Please come along and support them.

Dry Drayton Parish Council

Next meeting 21 Feb 8pm Village Hall – open to all – development pressures in the village are building – a Village Neighbourhood Plan is being proposed. Agendas and minutes are on the Council’s website
