Brexit and Coffee

Worried about the EU Referendum result? Want to find out where Brexit might take us?

Our MP, Heidi Allen, has received an unprecedented level of emails from constituents who are greatly concerned about their future and that of the UK. In order to facilitate a discussion Heidi has arranged an open meeting to enable residents of South Cambridgeshire to express their concerns. The meeting will take place on Saturday 2 July 2016, 16.00 – 18.00 at South Cambridgeshire Hall, Cambourne Business Park, Cambourne, Cambridge CB23 6EA. Parking is available, entry free. Due to the number of emails Heidi has received she will be posting more information in response to current events on her website shortly at http://www.heidisouthcambs.co.uk/

Meanwhile on a more positive note – somewhere nearby to calm down, relax and chill

Many of you will know the lovely Cafe Abantu, the People’s Tearoom, just down the road from us at Bourn – excellent coffee and food and always a special welcome. Well their lease at Bourn is ending and they close on the 2nd July. But, great news, the Cafe Abantu will be re-established from 11th July at Wysing Arts in Fox Road Bourn. The special combination of refreshments and art will make it even more worthwhile to visit. Opening times at Wysing will be 9-4 M to F and 10-4 Sat.
