 From Virginia Bird – Virginia’s tea party in aid of CAFOD is on Saturday 25th JUNE (not 25th July as advertised in the June Village Newsletter). Afternoon Tea Party – all welcome 25th June 2.30 to 5pm in Virginia Bird’s pretty garden at 9 Pettitts Lane, Dry Drayton. £2 entry to garden and prize draw/

 Recent crimes in the village – please be vigilant and report any suspicious activity

Attempted theft at Springhill Stables in Oakington Road, Dry Drayton at around 00:03 hrs on 19/06/2016 00:03. Unknown person/s have attended stables at this the location and have attempted entry to a metal container. In doing so the offenders set off an alarm and they have left, no entry gained and nothing taken.

Between the 17:30hrs 27th May and 19:00hrs on 31 May, criminal damage took place at Dry Drayton Primary School. During the dates and times mentioned the wooden fire escape to the head teacher’s office has been forced from the outside. No entry gained and nothing has been taken.

Between 14:00 03/05/2016 and 15:00 on 04/05/2016 Theft from Shed (Park Lane, Dry Drayton).  Offenders gained access to a 20 foot metal shipping container being used as a shed by grinding off the securing padlock. Items were removed from within.
