In case you hadn’t noticed, the 30mph speed limit signs on the Madingley Road going into Cambridge have just jumped over a quarter of a mile Dry Drayton side of where they used to be (near to Churchill College grounds). It’s very easy to miss changes like this on a road you know well. So – look out now for the signs on the short dual carriageway stretch near the entrance to the University’s West Site. And the change from 30 to 40mph has also been moved to this spot coming out of Cambridge.
